Christy’s journey in the beauty industry started in 2000 when she realized how much joy came from making people feel and look their very best. She is known to wow her guests from the moment they arrive to the moment they walk out the door. Christy’s expertise in client relations has earned her several 5 star customer service awards and acknowledgements.
Christy has had a numerous amount of highlights within her career. She has worked two seasons of New York Fashion week, helped big name designers show off their collections with hair that rocked the runway, worked backstage behind the scenes on hair for music videos and has had her hands on some high profile names.
Once Christy discovered she could take her artistic talent and run with it to engage in a career full of opportunities, she hasn’t stopped.
In 2016, Christy decided to take measures into her own hands after many months of research in finding that “perfect” straightening iron after her’s shorted out on her. All of those sleepless nights turned into the start of her own company. The trademarked Royce Brand and each individual tool was personally customized and designed by Christy with you in mind- the consumer and the professional. She believes whole heartedly that it is her duty to bridge the gap between the two sides. With a little education and communication, she believes in the unity of these hair tools. Christy is a hairstylist with a vision. From layout to execution, each new hair tool design presents the opportunity to push limits creatively and technically. The results are nothing short of fancy; the practical, trendy designs exemplify cutting-edge technology. It’s more than just a hair tool, more than just a prestigious brand. There is no denying that Christy’s journey in the beauty world has redefined excellence. The dedication she has not only for the industry but for her guests has been a true testament to her success. She not only has proven her expertise technically but has proven it as a seasoned educator. Her love for learning and the ability to pass her knowledge on has been transformative for her career. That’s when Christy realized her passion for hair truly shifted when she started to dive deeper into the foundation of scalp and hair health. This led Christy down a path in achieving a Trichology certification. With the unwavering statistics in hair loss and scalp conditions, along with all of the concerns brought to her by people in her chair, she was determined to be on the forefront of change.
More recent in her career Christy was introduced to the Japanese Head Spa and all of its benefits. A Japanese head spa is a holistic treatment that focuses on the health of your scalp and hair. It combines traditional Japanese techniques with modern hair care practices to promote healthy hair growth and improve scalp health. Christy knew she had to be at the forefront of this practice as it takes the stage in the US, not to mention not having any head spa’s in the area. She spent long countless hours achieving this certification and is over the moon in excitement to be able to offer this experience by the end of summer 2024. Christy lives by her motto, “Beautiful hair starts with a healthy scalp.”
Understanding hair loss and scalp health on a deeper level has also created the most authentic space for Christy to deliver her clients hair of their dreams. Once Christy realized she was able to help people love themselves again with an enhancement of hair extensions she continues to be a master in this space. She doesn’t believe in a one size fits all formula, which is why she holds several hair extension method certifications. Christy will continue down the path of delivering luxurious hair without ever compromising it’s health and integrity.

With 10 years of experience as a licensed hairstylist behind the chair, Megan is thrilled to blend her expertise in hairstyling with the art of Japanese head spa techniques. She has always believed that healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp, and is passionate about providing a holistic approach to haircare. By combining traditional Japanese methods with her knowledge of hair and scalp health, she offers unique and deeply relaxing experiences that promotes overall wellness. With years of expertise, Megan’s known for her blowout excellence. Her artistry stands unmatched and her skills are consistently flawless. She will serve as our head spa technician and also can be booked for blow-outs.
